This was a fun cake to make for a teenboy's birthday. 
I tried to make it look like his guitar. Of course there are things I would change but overall I'm happy with the way it turned out.
Its a double chocolate fudge cake with chocolate pudding, cream cheese icing and chocolate marshmallow fondant. The guitar is painted black and brown with vanilla extract and gel colors. the piping is done with a #1 tip and #18 for the border.
The chocolate fondant was a total experiment and after a few tries I found a recipe that was super yummy. Painting was also an experiment but I'm fairly pleased with the results.
