My brother Peter came into town to play his last Rugby game of the year. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a cake for him. 
It's a butter cake with banana cream filling and buttercream frosting. The fondant is a mixture of Wilton and homemade marshmallow. The legs, head, and upper arms are made out of rice krispy treats covered in melted chocolate to make them smooth. The bandage is made out of gumpaste. 
In the game we watched he was voted MVP, although I don't think it is called that. So I had to recognize him for such an honor....this seemed like a good place to do it. :)
